Generations Minister/Pastor

Job Description

New Horizons is offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team, working with children, youth, and young adults for up to 16 hours per week.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping and supporting our Generations Ministry, contributing to its vision and strategy. You will also have the opportunity to train, mentor, disciple, and support generations ministry leaders, helping them to develop their gifts, grow as leaders, and mature their faith.

This flexible position can be tailored to suit other work, study, or family commitments, with a combination of work-from-home and on-site responsibilities.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Committed Christian who has a calling to church-based ministry work.
  • Demonstrates an ability to lead and develop ministry teams.
  • Experience in creating and implementing ministry initiatives.
  • Competent in training and equipping people for ministry.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Theology or Ministry or currently undergoing theological training.
  • Minimum of 3 years of in a children’s/youth ministry leadership role with pastoral experience.
  • Teaching qualifications advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience working in a child safe organisation with safeguarding best practice ways of working.
