Your opportunity  

You will provide direct, trauma-informed mental health support to children, adolescents, and their families - helping them heal, grow, and thrive over the long term. Grounded in the Supporting Recovery Model of Care and our Child Inclusive Practice Frameworks, you will ensure the program maintains the highest clinical standards aligned with best practice for supporting FDSV victim-survivors.  

Through expert supervision and training, you will guide and empower our dedicated team to deliver impactful, recovery-focused care. In doing so, you will help us impact more lives and advance the future of social services.  

This is a flexible Max term contract until 30th September 26 with possibility of extension, available on a part-time or full-time basis. The role offers flexibility, with options to work a minimum of four days per week up to full-time hours. Early start or late finish arrangements can be accommodated for the right candidate. Based at our Liverpool Anglicare offices, the position also involves occasional travel to our Campbelltown site. The hourly rate is up to $58.19 per hour.  

With integrity and resilience, you will:  

  • Champion evidence-based therapies and wellbeing support for children and young people  
  • Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and guidance to program staff  
  • Deliver trauma-informed care to victim-survivors, especially children and adolescents  
  • Promote a safe, inclusive culture that embraces diversity and lived experience  
  • Drive collaboration, clinical governance, and continuous improvement across the program  

What you’ll bring  

You are a trauma-informed, inclusive clinician and experienced supervisor who inspires high performance and excellence in your team. You bring deep expertise in supporting children and adolescents impacted by family, domestic, and sexual violence (FDSV), along with a commitment to culturally responsive practice. You also share our organisational values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence, embedding them in everything you do.  

You will also need:  

  • A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work or a related field  
  • 5+ years’ experience working with clients experiencing mental health challenges and FDSV (mandatory) 
  • Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g. ACA Level 34, PACFA Clinical, AHPRA, or AASW Mental Health)  
  • Experience supervising clinicians working with children from 5 years old up to 12-year-old and adolescents  
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and CALD communities (desirable)  
  • A current NSW Working With Children Check, Police Check, and NSW Driver’s Licence  
  • Safe & Together Model training and experience (desirable)
