Job Description

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for an IT Officer position within our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong customer service mindset, solid technical troubleshooting skills, and a passion for supporting users across various IT systems and platforms.

Fixed Term Contract: November 2025- 30 June 2026
Full Time or Part Time (4 days/ 30 hours) applicants welcome
Location: North Sydney (3 days office, 2 days remote)

About the Role:

  • Responding to service desk tickets and support requests
  • Supporting the IT Manager on other IT projects
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Supporting Windows, macOS, Office 365, and common business applications
  • Managing user accounts, permissions, and system access
  • Escalating complex issues to IT Manager where necessary
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records of support activities

Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Three or more years working on an IT Service Desk, directly providing on-site and phone support
  • Qualifications in Information Technology or similar
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • A customer-first attitude and the ability to work under pressure
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing system
  • Commitment to Bible mission work fuelled by personal faith and commitment
