St Andrews Christian College is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary School Teacher to join our team in Wantirna South. As a Primary School Teacher for Year 6, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our students within the Primary School department. This part-time (FTE 0.4), fixed term role commences on 25th August, 2025, until 31st March, 2026. Working days for this position are Mondays and Tuesdays - Parental Leave.

The main responsibilities and tasks of the role include:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaboration.
• Establish clear objectives for each lesson and communicate them to students in an accessible manner.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop well-rounded educational experiences for students.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and maintain open communication regarding students' progress and well-being.
• Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities or school events.
