Seeking to appoint a Principal commencing Term 1 2026.........

Wellington Christian School is a modern, growing and well resourced school in a beautiful setting in regional NSW. It is a co-educational, non-denominational Kindergarten to Year 6 school with 76 enrolments and a vision to, “In partnership, to equip students with a distinctive and responsive education, to be transformational with a heart for Christ”.

The successful applicant/s will:

• be an active and passionate Christian, able to accept and live out the BCE Statement of Faith
• be able to develop, promote and protect a Christian ethos and culture of the school through team oriented, collaborative Christian leadership
• have appropriate tertiary qualifications as a teacher, including NSW teacher accreditation (or capacity to obtain this)
• have familiarity with the NSW & Australian curriculum
• have a current valid Working with Children Check
• have exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively and sensitively across a broad range of audiences throughout the school community demonstrate excellent leadership qualities
• have skills and experience in conflict management and resolution as it relates to staff, students and parents
• have the ability to be solution-focused and objective in your problem solving and decision making whilst adhering to sound Christian principles and being sensitive to the needs of others
• possess commitment to your own professional learning and in making contributions to the broader Christian Education community, including willingness to undertake post-graduate studies as appropriate
• demonstrate a passion for and skill in teaching, including a commitment to the WCS Teaching & Learning Plan
• be an effective team member, able to both accept and provide direction and support, and demonstrate the ability to implement and sustain change
• possess high level communication, analytical, strategic planning, administration and problem–solving skills

Renumeration for this position will be negotiated by the BCE Executive Principal and Board in accordance with the successful candidate's experience and in line with salaries and conditions in comparable NSW schools.

The commencement of this role will be 5 January 2026 or at a negotiated date.
