Taringa Baptist Church (TBC) is prayerfully seeking a Christ-centred, spiritually mature, and experienced Lead Pastor to lead us into a season of mindful revival and renewed mission.

For over 125 years, TBC has been a witness of God’s grace and a place of worship, and community service in Brisbane’s inner south-west. Today, we are a diverse, multicultural congregation of around 60–100 people, passionate about authentic worship, biblical teaching, and sharing the love of Christ with our community.

We are seeking a pastor who:

Is gifted in preaching and teaching—clear, faithful, and inspiring messages that build faith and encourage spiritual growth.

• Models godly character and who leads with humility, and a servant’s heart.
• Can collaborate and empower ministry leaders, fostering a culture of shared leadership and growth.
• Is visionary and strategic, guiding the church in outreach, community engagement, and facility enhancements.
• Embraces our multicultural and intergenerational context and has a passion for working with people.
• Has a strong pastoral heart with demonstrated people skills, relational warmth and emotional intelligence.
