About the Role

Maitland Christian School is seeking to appoint an IT Systems Engineer as a strategic infrastructure position, focusing on the provision and project support of effective systems for all users of Maitland Christian School Limited information technology. The successful applicant would provide IT resource customer assistance and support for MCS Limited campuses and interests which includes Maitland Christian School, Arise Christian College, and Valley Village Early Learning Centre.

Essential Criteria

• A relational person, able to contribute to the growth of staff vision and capacity for Christian Education
• A committed Christian actively involved in their local church
• A person with high level administrative skills and knowledge of information technology systems, hardware and software, relevant to the needs and future development of the campuses of Maitland Christian School Limited
• A commitment to ongoing Professional Development and relevant accreditations
• A person with flexibility to manage and respond to the dynamic day-to-day operations and activities of the school and the skills to make these supportive decisions
• Possessing a deep, informed, and current knowledge of information technology resource management, and provide direction for future requirements
• Familiar with Agile Project Management Framework and how to implement projects in line with it
• Responsible to the IT manager for the smooth and timely management of users and authentication mechanisms across the MCS Limited environment including:
  • Entra ID
  • Identity 1
  • Active Directory
• Supporting the IT Manager in the process of commissioning and maintaining MCS Limited Infrastructure, with a focus on:
  • Local server management (Hyper-V)
  • Audio / Visual systems
  • Single Sign On and application integration
  • Device management (Intune / JAMF)

Selection Process

Following the close of applications, the Selection Committee of the School will consider applications and prepare a short list of candidates for interview. It is expected that at least one round of interviews will be undertaken.

Salary

Salary will be in line with NSW Christian Schools General Staff Multi- Enterprise Agreement 2020-2023 at the level of responsibility and experience of the successful applicant.
