About the Role

Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? Join us as a Team Leader and lead a dedicated team of Care Workers and Domestic Assistants to deliver exceptional home care services to our residents.

Permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.00pm, located at Anglicare's Woolooware Shores Seniors Communities in Taren Point.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Ensure outstanding, person-centred care and exceptional customer service. Manage daily schedules, staff absences, and fill gaps in rosters. Develop and support staff, providing feedback, coaching, and recognition.
  • Team Management: Collect and record accurate data, manage reporting and administrative tasks, and guide team members in understanding and implementing policies, procedures, and standards.
  • General: Escalate resident concerns, maintain good relationships with stakeholders, manage safety and risk, and promote a continuous improvement culture. Provide home care services during staff shortages.

Key Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to use technology.
  • Intermediate reading and writing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions.
  • Strong leadership skills

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Cert III or higher in Aged Care/Community Services or equivalent.
  • Experience in community-based aged care services and direct care work.
  • Previous team leader experience in a busy environment.
  • Experience with systems and technology applications.
  • Valid NSW Drivers Licence and minimum third-party insurance on own vehicle.
