Equine Assisted Learning Assistant Facilitator

Join Our Equine Assisted Learning Team

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others?

Do you enjoy working with horses and being part of a supportive, purpose-driven team?

We are a privately run small group who aim to create impact through service using horses. We focus on the unique connection between people and horses to produce meaningful learning experiences for our participants.

Programs are held on-site in our arena and are completely ground-based (ie no riding involved). Many of our participants come from local Aged Care and Disability communities.

We’re currently seeking dedicated volunteers to support these programs.

Your role will involve:

• Assisting with activity facilitation in the arena
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of participants and horses
• Providing encouragement and gentle guidance to participants

Ideal candidates will:

• Be available on Thursday mornings from 9:30am to 12:30pm
• Be able to commit weekly, fortnightly, or monthly
• Be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Have experience handling horses
• Enjoy working as part of a warm, enthusiastic team with shared Christian values

Training and support will be provided.
