What’s the job?
Having delivered NightWatch Chaplaincy since 2001 in Queensland, ChaplainWatch has been given the opportunity to deliver ‘Safe Night Precinct Support Services’ to Gladstone. We've been serving in Gladstone since 2020 and we're looking for someone to continue the work of building the ministry.
The NightWatch Chaplains work overnight in the late-night entertainment precincts of the city, watching out for anyone at risk, in need or in crisis during a night out at late-night venues (Nightclubs, pubs etc).
We also run a static Rest and Recovery Facility called ‘NightSafe’, a safe place for those whose good times have gone bad during their night out, providing rest and recovery, first aid, support and monitoring by qualified staff during all Friday and Saturday night duties.
