See Hear Speak is a growing psychology and allied health practice, specialising in working with children, young people and families. Our office is well positioned, only a short walk away from Lake Macquarie and Speers Point Park. We have an excellent team and great workplace culture. This is an exciting opportunity for an administrative officer to join a family run business that is passionate about providing high quality, family focused psychology services. The See Hear Speak owners, Andrew and Alex, are Christians and regularly attend a local church with their family.

The ideal administration officer we are looking for, is someone who genuinely cares about supporting both our clients and team, creating a warm and welcoming environment that helps everyone feel comfortable and valued. They are approachable, have a professional attitude with a high level of organisation skills and a willingness to learn new skills in a well-supported environment.

Day to day duties include:

  • Answering client phone and email enquiries
  • Intake and referral of clients
  • Administrative support for clinicians
  • Processing of payments and general admin duties
  • Assisting with office projects as needed

The role is part-time, 2 days a week with potential for growth.

Essential criteria for the position include:

  • Ability to manage client enquiries, bookings and scheduling of appointments
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Able to discretely and confidentially handle client information
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • NDIS Worker Check
  • National Police Check Clearance

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a health practice for children, young people and adults
  • Knowledge of Medicare and NDIS processes
  • Experience with health practice management software
  • Minimum requirements Certificate III in Business Administration
