Reports to: Associate Director – International Student Recruitment

Works with:

  • Other Alphacrucis University College (AC) Staff, including faculty, administrative, and operational teams.
  • External stakeholders, such as education agents, government bodies, and prospective students.

About this Opportunity:

The International Student Recruitment Assistant supports the International Student Recruitment team by assisting with agent management, student applications, and marketing efforts. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for working with international students.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with agent management by updating records, renewing agreements, and conducting reference checks.
  • Support agent compliance monitoring in line with AC policies and procedures.
  • Promote AC to prospective international students and education agents, offering guidance on study options.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials for international recruitment.
  • Participate in key recruitment events and expos.
  • Monitor student applications and liaise with the admissions team to ensure smooth communication and processing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service via face-to-face, phone, and email interactions.
  • Maintain professional relationships with authorized education agents.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping within AC’s management systems.
  • Regularly report activities to the Associate Director – International Student Recruitment.

Required Skills and Proficiencies:

  • A Diploma or higher qualification.
  • Experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with management systems, social media platforms, and design tools such as Canva.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail.
