The Family Preservation WSNBM program provides targeted support to vulnerable families to prevent children and young people (0 to 17 years old) from escalating into the child-protection or Out of Home Care system.

What you'll do

  • We are looking for outstanding caseworkers who are conscientious, reliable and motivated about making a difference. As a caseworker you will be working with a team of exceptional professionals who practise within an evidenced based framework. We are seeking staff who wish to apply their skills in the complex child protection area. Although this will be your focus, you will have to work with all members of the family unit.
  • Work within the service provision guidelines and Wesley Family Preservation’s framework by maintaining a focus on child wellbeing outcomes, which are managed through mandatory reporter guidelines and effective safety planning with the family.

  • University qualifications in social work or related fields with a commitment to continued training and learning opportunities to improve your practice

You will have:

  • NSW Drivers Licence and willingness to travel across the Western Sydney, Nepean and Blue Mountains region
  • A current Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
