Narellan Community Congregational Church (NCCC) is a bible centred church that seeks to love God and love people based around the bible, prayer & relationship with Jesus. Our Sunday morning service combines traditional and contemporary worship in an environment that encourages congregational participation.
We are looking to employ a pastor to teach God’s word, lead by example, disciple the members of our church and lead us in reaching the Macarthur community with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are seeking an dynamic, enthusiastic and community minded minister to collaboratively lead our ministries at NCCC and help build our community through:
• Teaching, worship and discipleship training
• Maintaining and extending our existing community outreach and pastoral care
• Reinvigorating our existing programs for children
• Developing programs for young adults and families
• Leading and further developing spirituality within the church
The ideal candidate will meet the following essential criteria:
• A deep commitment to Christ, to prayer and to spiritual growth at personal and congregational levels.
• Holds formal theological qualifications and relevant ministerial experience.
• Demonstrated high levels of verbal and written communication.
• Demonstrated ability to work within and manage/oversee a variety of teams.
• A deep desire for pastoral care in the congregation and the community.
• A willingness to serve with the leadership/board in all aspects of mission to the congregation and community.
