Christian Youth Camps Ltd (CYC) is a Christian Not for Profit organisation, one of Australia’s premier Christian camping and ministry organisations, which exists to create opportunities for all people to personally encounter the living God through camping, conferencing, facilities & programs.

About the Role:

Christian Youth Camps Ltd. is seeking a skilled Head of Operations and Administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that operational processes of our Head Office team are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company's goals and objectives. They will work closely with other senior leaders to develop and implement strategies that drive growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and develop a diverse team of department heads.
• Ensure that all operational processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
• Develop and manage budgets and ensure that expenditures are within approved limits.
• Coordinate internal and external HR resources.
• Provide recruiting and interviewing support for site managers and other key personnel.

Selection Criteria:

Essential

• Senior leadership experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead leaders
• Experience with budget setting and management
• Proven experience in setting, planning and delivering outcomes
• Familiar with working within legislative compliance processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Driver’s licence
• Victorian Working With Children Check / Police check

Desirable

• Experience in the group accommodation and/or camping industry
• Bachelor’s or post graduate qualification in Management and/or business
