Administrative Assistant

We're looking for someone to assist in our office environment two to three days per week.....

Mustard Seed Christian Childcare is a not-for-profit provider of early childhood education and care, looking to honour and serve Jesus. We partner with churches in the mission of spreading the good news of Jesus Christ by being an outreach ministry, and also providing high quality childcare programs in a Christian environment. We run preschools, long day cares and outside of school hours care.

We are seeking a committed Christian to join our team at Mustard Seed Christian Childcare and work in general areas of administration on a part time basis. We're looking for someone who is highly motivated, experienced, and able to organise others.

The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, proven track record, experience with MS office suite, an understanding of payroll (or a willingness to learn), and a desire to serve our Lord Jesus.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities will include a range of tasks, including, general office duties, communications with key stakeholders, word processing and data entry, maintenance of data-base and filing systems, recording transactions and general administrative tasks associated with funding, finance and fees.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a high level of proficiency with MS Office suite, a current Working With Children Check (WWCC), an eye for detail and a passion for finishing a task, a professional attitude, a willingness to learn new skills, and demonstrated skills in providing communication in both written and verbal formats

It might be an advantage, if you have familiarity with a range of computer programs such as XERO, OWNA, a first aid certificate, including asthma and anaphylaxis (ACECQA recognised), experience in any of administration, payroll or some level of financial management.
