About the Role Koonung Heights-Surrey Hills Uniting Church, located in Balwyn East (Melbourne’s eastern suburbs), is looking for an experienced pastoral carer to offer pastoral support to members of our lively congregation. The Pastoral Assistant will work with the minister and congregational members to visit members in their homes, in hospitals or in places of care. They will also organise and deliver occasional education about pastoral care for volunteer pastoral carers from the congregation. The successful applicant will be appointed as a ‘pastor in non-placement’ (level 2). This is a permanent part-time position at 15.2 hours per week.
